Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains your right to cancel and obtain a refund for PAIO Subscriptions purchased from PopcornSAR Co., Ltd. ("PopcornSAR", "we", "us"). This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.
For purchases made through Paddle (international), this Policy is intended to be consistent with Paddle's Buyer Terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/invoiced-consumer-terms). Paddle is the Merchant of Record for such purchases and processes refunds on our behalf.
1. 14-Day Right to Cancel
You have the right to cancel your Subscription and receive a full refund within fourteen (14) calendar days from the day after your initial paid Transaction is completed, without giving any reason.
This 14-day right applies equally to monthly and annual Subscriptions.
2. Effect of Cancellation
If you exercise your 14-day right to cancel, we will reimburse all payments received from you, without undue delay and not later than fourteen (14) days after the day on which we are informed of your decision to cancel.
Reimbursements are made using the same means of payment you used for the original Transaction, and you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
3. Exception (Digital Content Already Consumed)
Your right to cancel under Section 1 does not apply to digital content that you have already begun to download, install, stream, or otherwise consume in a manner that materially diminishes its value. This exception reflects:
- Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU);
- Article 17(2) of the Republic of Korea's Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce; and
- equivalent provisions in other jurisdictions.
4. Subscriptions
4.1 Auto-Renewal
Paid Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) until you cancel.
4.2 How to Cancel Future Renewals
You may cancel your Subscription at any time through your Account or by submitting a request through the "Contact Us" tab on our website (https://autosar.io). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to the Service until that point.
4.3 No Refunds for Unused Periods After the 14-Day Window
The 14-day right of cancellation in Section 1 applies only to your initial paid Transaction. Subscription renewals do not trigger a new 14-day cancellation window. There are no refunds for partial or unused portions of an active billing period after the 14-day window has elapsed. This is consistent with Paddle's own subscription terms.
4.4 Free Trials
Our 30-day Free Trial does not require payment. If you do not actively elect to convert to a paid Subscription, no payment will be charged and no refund is required or possible.
5. Refund Refusal for Fraud or Abuse
Refunds may be refused where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour that would entitle us or Paddle to counterclaim the refund. This does not affect your statutory rights as a Consumer in respect of products that are not as described, faulty, or not fit for purpose.
6. Statutory Consumer Rights (Not Affected)
This Policy does not limit any non-waivable statutory rights you may have under the law of your country of habitual residence:
- European Union / EEA: 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU).
- United Kingdom: equivalent rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
- Republic of Korea: rights of withdrawal under the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, subject to the digital-content limitation in Section 3.
- Japan: protections under the Consumer Contract Act.
- United States: state-specific consumer rights, including those of California residents under the CCPA.
7. How to Request a Refund
7.1 Purchases Made Through Paddle (International)
For Paddle Transactions, please contact Paddle's buyer support at https://paddle.net. Paddle processes refunds directly on our behalf as the Merchant of Record. You may also reach out to us through the "Contact Us" tab on https://autosar.io and we will coordinate with Paddle.
7.2 Purchases Made Through Toss Payments (Republic of Korea)
Submit a refund request through the "Contact Us" tab on our website (https://autosar.io). Please include:
- the email address associated with your PopcornSAR Account;
- the Toss Payments transaction ID, payment approval number, or receipt number;
- the date of purchase;
- a brief explanation of the reason for the refund request (optional but appreciated).
We will acknowledge receipt within two (2) business days and process eligible refunds within five (5) to ten (10) business days of confirmation.
8. How Refunds Are Issued
Refunds are issued through the same payment processor used for the original Transaction, to the original payment method:
- Paddle (international) — processed by Paddle to the original payment method.
- Toss Payments (Republic of Korea) — processed by us via Toss Payments to the original payment method; where required by Korean tax law we will issue a corrected tax invoice (수정세금계산서).
Time to appear on your statement depends on your payment method:
- Credit/debit cards: typically 5–10 business days (sometimes longer depending on the issuing bank).
- PayPal: typically 1–3 business days.
- Other local payment methods: as determined by the relevant provider.
Currency conversion fees, foreign-transaction fees, or bank fees that were applied by your card issuer or bank at the time of the original payment are not refundable by PopcornSAR, Paddle, or Toss Payments.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy reflects the most recent revision. The Policy in effect at the time of your purchase will govern that purchase.

This Refund Policy is made available in both English and Korean. In the event of any conflict between the two language versions, the English version shall prevail for users outside the Republic of Korea, and the Korean version shall prevail for users inside the Republic of Korea.
