SDV Simulation
As the era of SDV (Software-defined Vehicle) approaches, various functionalities that will be applied to future vehicles require a simulation environment such as a Digital Twin, based on data related to vehicle system performance and operating conditions, to perform tests under conditions identical to those of actual vehicles.
The reason for this is that, to realize SDVs, it is crucial to monitor and perform pre-implementation checks to ensure that functionality safety, the most critical aspect, is not adversely affected before actual production of vehicles.
AA Development
Digital Twin also plays a significant role from the perspective of Adaptive AUTOSAR development. One of the biggest advantages is that, due to the visual nature of Digital Twins, it becomes easier to verify the functionality of AAs (Adaptive Applications) developed based on Adaptive AUTOSAR. This, in turn, facilitates development, debugging, error correction, and more. Through early issue detection, SW development, maintenance, and improvement tasks can be performed efficiently.
PopcornSAR's key product, AA (Adaptive Application) developed based on Adaptive AUTOSAR, is integrated with the Digital Twin developed by our partner company MORAI, enabling the implementation of various autonomous driving technologies, from basic control to advanced capabilities in vehicles.
